The price of quilting your quilt is determined by:

  • The size of your quilt
  • The complexity of the quilting pattern that you choose
  • The extra services that you request.

If you require a service that is not listed, please feel free to mention what you need, and we can give you an estimate of the cost.

Minimum project charge is $45.

Expedited service is an extra 20% of the quilting charge.

Quilting charges per square inch
To determine the size in square inches:
Width x length = square inches		  
       
       
 
       
  Thread
First color thread: No extra charge
Variegated thread: $ 7.50
Two or more thread color changes: $ 5 for each color		      
         
  Binding
Binding services are charged by the linear foot. The total measurement is determined by adding the measurement of all four sides:
(Length + length + width + width) divided by 12 inches = Total linear foot measurement		      
 
       
Making and machine attaching binding (with fabric that you provide) for you to finish   $ 0.12 per linear inch  
       
Making and machine attaching binding (with fabric that you provide) and finishing by hand   $ 0.23 per linear inch  
       
Making and machine attaching binding (with fabric that you provide) and finishing by machine   $ 0.17 per linear inch

Seaming backing   $ 7.50 to $15 per seam  
       
Trimming threads   $ 5 to $25 (crib to king)

Batting
We have batting on rolls that you can purchase by the inch. We carry Quilters Dream products and Tuscany battings, or you can provide your own batting.
